Two US poll workers have tragically lost their lives in severe flooding on America’s election day.
The 70-year-old man and 73-year-old woman died on Tuesday due to severe flooding that struck Missouri overnight.
The victims were swept away in their vehicles by swift, high waters in Beaver Creek, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The Wright County Clerk’s Office expressed deep sorrow over the incident, which occurred as a result of intense storms that battered the area the previous night.
