Jeremy Clarkson has sparked a huge response in his latest social media post, in which he declared an “important announcement”.
Clarkson’s Farm fans welcomed the news, with the series having become a hit with viewers after debuting back in 2021. Despite series four not making its way to screens yet, a fifth instalment has officially been given the green light.
Clarkson is set to return to screens with the fourth series of the farming show, with fans already excited ahead of the new episodes.
Never one to keep fans waiting though, the 64-year-old has shared the news that plenty more episodes of the Diddly Squat Farm based series are on the horizon.
In an clip posted to Instagram, he remarked: “Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements.
“The birth of the baby Jesus, for example. But tonight, they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that.”

“Best news of the YEAR,” someone else echoed. However, another was quick to point out: “Announcing season 5 before season 4 even comes out is wild”. (sic)
The vast majority though seem delighted to be promised more instalments featuring Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper and Lisa Hogan.
With the fourth series having only recently been filmed, there certainly won’t be a shortage of episodes for fans to look forward to.

The show’s popularity seems to keep growing, with Clarkson’s business ventures expanding on the show’s popularity.
This year, the Grand Tour star opened the doors of his new pub, The Farmer’s Dog. The Cotswolds establishment was opened in September after months of Clarkson keeping fans in the loop of the pub’s progress.
It’s thought series four of the show will feature the hurdles Clarkson and the team faced ahead of the pub’s opening, including Clarkson’s revelation that the location of the pub was a former dogging site.
On one occasion, he found some awkward evidence of that as he shared an Instagram post of his discovery.
