Nigel Farage, the Reform UK leader and MP for Clacton, was a special guest at Donald Trump’s final rally before the US election in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The former US President praised Farage during his speech, calling him a “spectacular man” and “a little bit of a rebel”.

Trump highlighted their friendship, saying, “He’s always been my friend for some reason. He liked me, I liked him.”

Carol Kilgore, a lawyer and Republican, told GB News: “I think it’s good for moral support. I think Donald Trump is a very obviously very confident persona, but he must like having his friends around.

“As you said, it is a close and potentially close race, particularly in a state like Pennsylvania, which I believe is going to be the actual key state that’s going to decide the election.”
