A car parked outside a house in north Belfast has been targeted in an arson attack in the early hours of Monday.
Police said the incident happened in the Brompton Park area shortly before 1:30am.
The PSNI said that the blue Audi TT which was parked outside a property in the area was set alight.
Police said that a person dressed in dark coloured clothing poured a liquid over the bonnet of the vehicle and set it alight.
The person is then reported to have made off on foot towards the Butler Place area following the incident.
Police are appealing for anyone with information surrounding the incident to come forward.
