Strictly Come Dancing professional Vito Coppola left audiences’ tongues wagging as he graced the stage in a pair of tight leather trousers.

Tonight, Coppola and partner Sarah Hadland performed the Cha Cha to Like a Prayer by Madonna for Icons Week.

Whilst Hadland came out and embodied Madonna, Coppola donned tight leather trousers with a sheer bodysuit.

As he danced around the ballroom, many fans couldn’t help but take to their social media and admit they were left flustered by his appearance.

Posting on X, one fan said: “I’m free if Vito needs any assistance removing a wedgie.”

“Sarah and Vito’s dance on #strictly just gave me thrills. It was erotic. Vito’s outfit and the throat drop and grab,” another expressed.

“Sarah & Vito. Stunning. Simple as that,” a third said before someone else added: “VITO f***ing-hell.”

“Mesh thong body and PVC trousers… Vito knows what he’s doing,” a fifth expressed before a sixth wrote: “Costume and makeup department really know their audience dressing Vito every week.” (sic)

Commenting on his costume, Anton du Beke commented: “I have got one word for you Vito. Wedgie.”

Confused, the dancer repeated the word back to the judge before Hadland realised and went around the back of her partner to check.

Realising what he meant, Coppola admitted: “Oh yeah, yeah it really pulls,” leaving Du Beke to continue: “Every time you lifted your arm up, I had a little wink.”

Taking advantage of the moment, Hadland asked: “Can we get an extra point for that?”

Once again, the couple left the judges stunned with their performance and received a near-perfect score of 39.

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman about their performance, Hadland said: “I went to see her in Wembley in 1993 and honestly, I had the little lace vest.

“Bow in my hair, the lace gloves, the little jeans and if you told me then that I would be doing this, it is just…”

Coppola isn’t the only one who has debuted a pair of leather trousers on the show, as Gorka Marquez left viewers stunned when he wore a similar pair.

However, he admitted on It Takes Two that their tightness restricted his movement, and told Janette Manrara: “They were very tight,” comparing them to a “nail in a submarine.”

Gorka also mentioned the need for talcum powder due to chafing issues: “Yeah, I had to have talc… You know chafing? A lot of that,” he said.

He jokingly added that he felt “like the guy in Friends”, a reference to Ross Geller’s (played by David Schwimmer) memorable leather pants scene.
