Aldi is set to spark a festive debate with its latest addition to the Christmas menu; a selection of mince pies offering a unique blend of flavours.
The supermarket chain’s new savoury treats combine traditional festive flavours with a cheeseboard twist.
It includes the Specially Selected Ruby Port, Fig & Cheese Puff Pastry Mince Pie, available in all Aldi stores from November 1.
Priced at £2.59 for a pack of six, the pies feature all-butter puff pastry filled with a rich Ruby Port, Fig, and Pear mincemeat.

The savoury twist comes from a blend of Cheddar and Emmental cheese, both mixed into the filling and sprinkled on top.
This unique combination creates a tangy flavour profile that has already garnered recognition.
The supermarket was named the Best Overall Grocer at the prestigious Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) Christmas Taste Test 2024.
This annual event, which reviews 730 products from over 97 brands, saw Aldi crowned as the overall winner.
The chain’s Specially Selected Mince Pies, priced at just 38p each, were awarded the title of Best Mince Pie.
Judges were impressed by their soft, flaky pastry and sweet, caramelised fruit filling.
The new savoury mince pies are now available in Aldi stores, alongside the supermarket’s existing mince pie range.
For those eager to try traditional options, Aldi’s regular mince pie selection is already in stores.
