Two men who worked together at a homeopathic clinic in Brampton are accused of sexually assaulting female patients several years ago.

Peel Regional Police say the co-accused in the historical sexual assault investigation worked together at an alternative medicine clinic near Kennedy Rd. and Orenda Ct. – south of Queen St. E. – between 2020 and 2021.

“It is alleged that during this time, they sexually assaulted two female patients on multiple occasions,” police said in a statement.

The first accused – Gursharan Singh Sidhu, 59, of Brampton – was arrested on Sept. 23.

He was charged with gang sexual assault, sexual assault and attempting to commit an indictable offence.

And on October 22, the owner of the homeopathic clinic – Inderpal Athwal, 56, of Brampton – was arrested.
