The product: Lululemon x Fanatics NHL Collection.
Why we love it: Hockey fans, take note.
Vancouver-headquartered activewear brand Lululemon has teamed up with Fanatics to release a new line of fan gear for 11 National Hockey League (NHL) teams.
The initial roster of teams featured for the current season includes: Boston Bruins; Chicago Blackhawks; Detroit Red Wings; Edmonton Oilers; Florida Panthers; Montreal Canadiens; New York Rangers; Seattle Kraken; Toronto Maple Leafs; Vancouver Canucks; and Vegas Golden Knights.
A full assortment representing all 32 teams in the league is expected for the 2025-26 season, according to a news release.
The multi-year partnership sees the Lululemon team “design and develop” fresh options for fans to wear for game day. Recognizable favourites such as the Scuba Hoodie, Define Jacket, Align Pant, Everywhere Belt Bag are included in the range, each featuring individual NHL team branding. The collection is available in men’s and women’s sizing.
While the logos and mascot imagery is much the same as other fan gear, what the collection can be expected to improve upon is fit. Rather than shapeless, boxy tees and saggy unisex sweatpants, this collection incorporates the performance fabrics the lifestyle brand is known for with more attention to shape than most other fan-gear options.
In future collections, we’d love to see a few of the company’s more fashion-forward pieces incorporated into the line. But, it is athleisure wear, first and foremost, after all. Plus, the women’s cropped half-zip and the men’s crewneck sweater (worn oversized, of course) are sure to find fans among the fashion-sports crossover set.
The collection received some star power from professional hockey player — and North Vancouver native — Connor Bedard, who was recently signed on as a partner of Lululemon. Other players, such as John Tavares from the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Matty Beneirs from the Seattle Kraken, also appear in the campaign.
“As a proud Lululemon ambassador and longtime fan of the brand, Lululemon is my go-to gear for training, and an off-day,” said Bedard in the release. “It’s exciting that Lululemon is partnering with Fanatics and the NHL to introduce more fans to the brand.”
According to the Canadian company, the partnership felt like a perfect fit.
“We’re big hockey fans here at Lululemon, and we know our guests are too,” Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation, Lululemon said in a news release. “We’re thrilled to partner with Fanatics and the NHL to grow our presence in professional sports and introduce our high-quality performance and loungewear apparel to NHL fans around the League who share our love for the game.”
Currently available through Lululemon exclusively through the brand’s app, the collection can also be shopped online through the NHL store andFanatics.ca.
The price: $54-$168.
