Enya Martin started her career making comedy sketches on Facebook from her bedroom in her native Clondalkin — and now she performs stand-up at some of the country’s biggest festivals. Her ‘Giz a Laugh’ page that she started in the bedroom has amassed 380,000 followers on Facebook and 146,000 followers on Instagram. In 2021, the marketing graduate appeared alongside Angeline Ball in the comedy film Deadly Cuts and her first book, One for the Girlos, is being published this month. She’s also currently touring Ireland with her new show ‘Is it Just Me?’, which will take in Dublin’s Vicar Street on October 24 and November 17. Last week she performed at the Galway Comedy Festival.
