Ben Stokes has revealed England’s inquest will be quick in the wake of their defeat to Pakistan on Saturday.
The Three Lions lost by nine wickets, with Pakistan coming from behind to win the series 201.
England were poor throughout the third and final Test, with Stokes himself struggling as his side crashed to defeat.
But the Three Lions skipper has revealed they won’t reflect on the loss for too long given their Test series against New Zealand is due to take place next month.

“It is incredibly disappointing to lose a Test match,” he said, per the BBC.
“The reflection will be done quick. The schedule means we have to move on. In New Zealand we will be given a different challenge.”
He continued: “The last couple of Tests we’ve been thrown some challenges and I think it’s pretty easy to assess that were weren’t able to stand up to those challenges.
“The great thing about sport is that those challenges will always come along but in the last two games we weren’t able to match what Pakistan threw at us.

“We’ve got a very quick turnaround to another challenge in New Zealand so we’ve got to put the disappointment of the last two games behind us and move on.”
England’s batters struggled out in Asia.
Ollie Pope scored just four runs throughout their two innings in the final Test, leading to question marks over whether he should stay in the team.
But while Stokes acknowledges the struggles of England’s top order, he’s adamant they’re the best bunch of batters on the planet.

“You can’t shut the door on everything,” he said when asked if England will consider dropping one of their top six batters.
“Then you are being single-minded to what you want to do.
“But back to what I said before, there is no doubt in my mind that we have the best top six batsmen in England.”
England head coach Brendon McCullum has also opened up in the wake of the result.

He says Pakistan deserved their victory and admitted England players struggled to adapt to the pitch throughout the series.
“Obviously last series was an impressive performance from us on different types of wickets to what we saw here,” he said.
“We were very proud of that series win and what we were able to achieve but we also knew that was a bit of an outlier in terms of playing in Pakistan.
“We saw as the series went on the pitches changed quite substantially and we weren’t quick enough to be able to adapt to that.

“Credit goes to Pakistan for the way they shuffled their team and brought in some wily campaigners, who are very, very good in those conditions.
“They also put us under a lot of pressure and we weren’t able to respond.
“In the end, we can’t have too many complaints about the result because we had our opportunities and Pakistan were better than us.”
