During his time as a running back in the NFL, Le’Veon Bell was known for being incredibly shifty and able to evade defenders trying to take him down.
Now, it appears he found a new strategy when it comes to dodging trouble.
The former all-pro who has taken up boxing since leaving the NFL posted on X that a specific article of clothing recently helped him get out of a speeding ticket after being pulled over.

Bell took to X on Thursday around noon to tell his sensational story.
“I got pulled over, cop asks for my license & registration, and while I’m in (the) process of getting everything for him, he then says: “I love your hat man,’” Bell wrote on the social media platform.
“Immediately I say: ‘OF COURSE, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN SIR.’
“He hands me back my things and says: ‘Have a great day Mr. Bell.”
In a follow up reply, Bell admitted to driving at 53 mph in a 45 zone.
“Yeah he definitely extra for pulling me over for doing 53 in a 45 .. but he TRUMP 2024, so we all good!!!” he wrote.

Bell and controversial former Steelers teammate Antonio Brown had both gone on stage to take part in Trump’s rally in LaTrobe, Pa., last Saturday.
The former running back spent the first five years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers before sitting out a season in a contract dispute. He returned for the 2019 season with the New York Jets and later had spells with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Before leaving the game in 2021, Bell racked up 6,554 rushing yards, 3,289 receiving yards and 42 touchdowns while making three Pro Bowls.
Bell has since taken up professional boxing with a record of 2-1 in his three fights.
