Shoppers are snapping up a pair of Asics trainers that are ideal for both ‘running’ and those who suffer with ‘sore feet’ – and they have been majorly reduced in price on Amazon. Now costing £27.49 down from £54.08, the ASICS Jolt 4 Womens Running Shoes are a lightweight trainer which has been made with cushioning as well as a shaped ankle collar to keep your foot securely fastened into the shoe.

Beating the price of both Sports Direct and ASICS’ website, the JOLT4 trainers – specifically in the all black design – have been made with comfort in mind. From the Amplifoam mid-sole (that puts a bouncy spring in your step) to its flex grooves on the outsole of the shoe, the trainers also have been crafted with a soft ‘ORTHOLITE sockliner [which] will help keep you stay comfortable throughout the day’.

With engineered mesh as part of its make-up, the trainers are super breathable making them ideal for long days on your feet or that 10K you’re planning, keeping them cool and fresh.

At such a good price on Amazon, it’s no wonder the shoes have received an impressive 4.4 star rating on the shopping giant’s site alone, with one shopper saying they were a dream to wear from the get go. They said: “I struggle with finding comfortable trainers, but these were great. From the moment I put them on they were very comfortable and I was able to wear them all day. Good prices for a comfy trainer.”

Another hailed them as the “the most comfortable trainers I’ve ever owned. Having been plagued with sore feet- plantar fasciitis, bunions and just generally achy feet, I can wear these all day and at the end of the day, no pain or achy feet/legs!”

One fan of the brand, who has bought ASICs’ Jolt 3 in the past was pleased with the upgrade and said: “As soon as I open the box, my heart was lifted. They are beautiful trainers. I normally go for Jolt3 but thought I’d try these instead. The tongue is longer and the heel grip is longer which on the whole makes it a much better trainer for me. I have overpronation and I can walk anywhere in jolt trainers love them.” The only thing she said they could improve on was that “I wish there were some more exciting colours.”- although, it’s important to point out that on Amazon, there are a variety of shades to chose from, from black and white to pink, blue and even a matcha green.

While they are commended for their support while walking or running, one shopper shared how this wasn’t quite the case for them, stating they wouldn’t use these Jolt4’s for the latter as, speaking subjectively, “the inside sole is not shockproof, does not support your feet enough. It feel quiet hard, too be honest, not cushioning enough, not enough support. But that is just my opinion.”

Others felt the shoes came up a little small with one trainer fan stating: “I ordered a 6 but should have sized half a size up my toe hits against the end of the shoe.”

The shoes do come in half sizes, which is ideal for if you’re in-between and range from 2.5 to 8.5. Get them here.

Amazon isn’t the only place to get some top quality branded trainers for less, though, as New Balance’s 327 trainers are on offer on Schuh for £74.99 down from £110. Elsewhere, Nike’s Legend Essential 3 Next Nature trainers have been reduced from £64.99 to £42.49 here.
