COME ON AMERICA
We are about to learn if there are still more Americans possessing common sense or if — conversely — there are a greater number of gullible, brain-washed voters with no reasoning skills in America. As a keen observer of American and Canadian politics, I have never seen – until Trump’s arrival – a more disgusting, repulsive personality (a convicted felon) rise to be a candidate for public office. The Trump cult has nearly destroyed the Republican Party. (And there are more than several like him who continue to contaminate the party). Trump is increasingly erratic, incoherent and weird. To me, he is obviously a puppet of Putin. I am troubled to witness how dirty and repulsive American politics has become under the malignant Trump influence. I believe that most of our American friends understand that Trump is a clear danger to democracy and good government. So, it is absolutely essential for the sake of the U.S. and for the sake of safe world order that all the common-sense Americans get out and vote for Kamala Harris, a talented and trustworthy, qualified candidate. It is not just the U.S. presidency and political system that is at stake in this crucial election – the free world is watching and is keenly interested in witnessing the decisive, overwhelming defeat of Trump and his wretched acolytes.

(Trump controlled the border – Biden/Harris opened it up. Trump had a strong economy – Biden/Harris’ government spending has spiked inflation. When Trump was president, there were no global wars – with Biden/Harris there are two conflicts with no end in sight. We think Americans will vote accordingly and how their own pocket book has been affected)

Re “Ignore the bullet holes! Trudeau claims victory over gun violence” (Brad Hunter, Oct. 23): Trudeau does not listen to Canadians, and it is now obvious he never, ever reads a newspaper either! He claims he’s single-handedly solved handgun crime. Every day in every reputable paper there is another report of shootings and the police are unable to curb this because of Trudeau’s soft-on-crime bail directives. No wonder he likes the CBC. They wear the same blinkers and fawn over him and do not run a newspaper with unbiased, comprehensive reporting.
