Royal enthusiasts eager to discover Kate Middleton’s skincare routine have been rushing to purchase a facial oil after learning it is favoured by the Duchess of Cambridge. Trilogy, a beauty brand from New Zealand, offers a range of rosehip oils, but it’s their Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil, priced at £17, that has received the Royal seal of approval.

For those unfamiliar with the ingredient, it is packed with antioxidants and Omega 3,6 and 9 – considered a superfood for the skin. Rosehip oil is also clinically proven to minimise the appearance of scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, while enhancing skin tone and imparting a radiant glow.

The 20ml Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil can be purchased at Holland and Barrett for £19.99, as well as online retailer LookFantastic for £34.50, or £17 on Amazon. US Weekly previously reported that this particular facial oil is “the secret to Kate’s flawless complexion during her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte”.

They added: “Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan.”

And shoppers concur, with over 1,000 customers awarding it 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon. One customer commented: “This oil helped me with my stretch marks, and now I am comfortable to wear bikinis in summer time.”, reports the Express.

One pleased customer commented: “I am 69 years old and have a frown line on my forehead and this product has taken half of the depth away. I now use it instead of my moisturiser and it is lovely under makeup.”

However, not all customers were as satisfied, with some describing the scent of rosehip oil as “odd” and “rancid”, while another expressed disappointment at not seeing any improvement after using it for a month. The Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is not just popular among royals but is also a must-have for skincare enthusiasts.

A Holland and Barrett shop assistant revealed to the Express that the product is frequently requested by tourists and shoppers.
