Smartwatches have swiftly followed mobile phones as the must-have tech gadget, with major players like Apple, Samsung and Google all offering their own versions. The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, launched in June this year, is one of the latest additions to the market.

It offers a range of features including tracking over 100 different workouts, monitoring body composition, setting personal fitness goals, and providing insights into sleep patterns and heart health. Despite its usual price tag of £199, it can now be snapped up for nothing thanks to a deal spotted at Carphone Warehouse.

Customers who purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S24 FE smartphone will receive the budget-friendly smartwatch for free. Buyers have the option to pay the full £649.99 upfront or split the cost into manageable monthly payments of £25.99 – which also includes 100GB of data and unlimited calls and texts courtesy of iD Mobile.

While the pay-per-month S24 FE and iD Mobile deal does come with the added bonus of mobile data (eliminating the need for a separate SIM-only deal), shoppers should be aware that they will be tied into a contract. The iD Mobile plan is a fixed 24-month agreement.

Another point to consider about this deal is the free Watch FE, which is certainly an attention-grabber. However, as it’s bundled with the budget S24 smartphone, customers may want to explore the standard S24 too – it’s £150 pricier when bought outright from the Samsung Store, but it does boast the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

For some, this could justify the additional cost. As for other Samsung deals, Sky Mobile springs to mind. The provider has another new product in stock, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and its pay-per-month deal breaks down the cost to less than £2 per day.
