Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has given an update on co-star and friend Jeremy Clarkson’s recent health issues and revealed that he was with him “every day”.

Across the weekend, Clarkson revealed in his Sunday Times column that he had fallen unwell, and after an emergency trip to the hospital, he was told he was “days away” from a heart attack.

He penned: “I woke on Wednesday morning not feeling too good. I was clammy and there was a tightness in my chest.

“Naturally, I ignored these things and, after loading 30 pigs into the slaughterhouse school bus, I noticed that I had pins and needles in my left arm.

“They then took blood and X-rayed me and wheeled in a vast range of portable machines that go ping.”

After running the tests, Clarkson revealed the team had decided he wasn’t having a heart attack, although the doctor didn’t set his mind at ease after revealing he could have had just days to live.

Much to fans’ relief, Clarkson revealed that the procedure was successful, allowing him to avoid an emergency heart bypass and leave the hospital the next morning.

Clarkson’s co-star Cooper joined Capital Breakfast host Sian Welby on Wednesday morning where he revealed the star began to feel unwell after swimming in the Indian Ocean while on holiday and gave a positive update.

She asked “There’s a real father-son kind of vibe with you two in that way. I love that it’s not just for the cameras, you are friends, aren’t you?

“And we’ve obviously all seen the news today about him being unwell at the minute. Have you been checking in and seeing if he’s alright?”

Cooper quipped: “Yeah, yeah. I’m there every day. I mean, I’m at the farm every day, or we’ll text every day or, you know, I’ll go in for a cup of tea every day.

“Oh, that’s so nice,” Welby noted before co-host Jordan North added: “And he’s doing alright?”

Further confirming Clarkson is on the road to recovery, Cooper again stated: “Yeah, he’s doing alright. He’s doing alright, he’s doing good.

The Grand Tour star was grateful for the support he had received from all of his fans and told The Sun: “I’m very grateful to everyone who sent supportive messages but I’m fine.

“I just have to not do any manual labour or dishwasher emptying for the next four years. At least I think that’s what the doctor said.”

It isn’t just the former Top Gear star who has been struggling with his health at Diddly Squat as he revealed to his Instagram followers that his pup had been “under the knife” too.

Posting an image of the dog at the door, he penned: “The poor thing is under the knife as we speak. She has pyometra. S**t week.”

While many fans offered well-wishes to Clarkson and his dog, others slammed the 64-year-old for not having had his pet spayed already.

However, loyal fans were quick to jump to the defence of the star and reveal their own stories by spaying their dogs.
