A 17-year-old boy faces charges after home invaders targeted a Richmond Hill home twice, stealing luxury vehicles in both cases, according to York Regional Police.

Officers are hunting three other suspects as they investigate the home invasions. The first happened  at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday in the Orlon Cr.-Claridge Dr.  area — about 1.2 kilometres northeast of Yonge St. and Hwy. 7.

Three bandits — at least one armed with a knife — smashed the glass front door and barged into the home, while another thug waited outside, said police.

The thieves stole items from the home, including the victim’s Mercedes G-Wagon, which was later found in Mississauga’s Britannia Rd. and Whitehorn Rd. area — about two kilometres south of Hwy. 401.

A 17-year-old male from Markham was arrested and charged with robbery with a weapon, and other offences. He cannot be identified under the Criminal Youth Justice Act.
