Two people face charges after private and publicly-owned property was hit by taggers, according to Toronto Police.

Officers were patrolling the Yonge St.-Roehampton Ave. area on Saturday at 1:50 a.m. when they noticed a pair of taggers spray-painting property.

Police alleged the duo tried to flee, but were arrested.

Assia Rami, 25, and Philip-Nicolas Varga, 23 — both of Toronto — are each charged with mischief under $5,000.
