Emma Raducanu has made it clear she’s still a big fan of Porsche and their vehicles – despite the tennis star recently having a car taken away.

The 21-year-old has been an ambassador for the brand ever since 2022, having secured a sponsorship deal following her remarkable triumph at the US Open the previous year.

Recently, however, Raducanu had her Porsche taken back.

Having struggled for form ever since her triumph in New York in 2021, the tennis star has paid the price.

A Raducanu insider told the Daily Mail: “Emma no longer has a Porsche. They took it back. It used to have pride of place at her home.”

A spokesperson then confirmed the update to the same publication, while also reiterating that Raducanu was still tied to the company.

“Emma Raducanu is a global brand ambassador for Porsche and there have not been any changes within our successful partnership since it started in 2022,” they said.

“We are very happy with our partnership.”

And the 21-year-old doesn’t appear to hold any grudges, having taken to Instagram to make her feelings clear.

She shared a snap of herself driving a Porsche from 2022, when she filmed a promotional video with the brand at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.

Her caption said: “Memories of @brandshatchofficial.”

And Raducanu showed she was still a huge fan of Porsche by posting a second snap with a caption that read: “Can’t believe this was two years ago…so excited that a new GT3 has been unveiled.”

Raducanu is currently preparing for her return to action.

She was forced to withdraw from multiple tournaments after sustaining a foot injury last month.

Raducanu is, however, set to play at the Hong Kong Tennis Open – which is due to commence on October 28.

She will be hunting her first singles title since her win at the US Open three years ago that catapulted her into the spotlight.

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is non-attachment; acknowledging that everything comes and goes. Every moment is fleeting, and how you interact with the present dictates how you feel, the quality of your work, the quality of your relationships, and how much the people around you enjoy being with you.

“I’ve taught myself not to label things as black or white. For example, with this injury, I’m trying to catch myself and stop labelling it as like, ‘Oh, I’m so unlucky, this is so bad.’

“I’ve learnt to accept things and reframe them. I’m not completely unable to exercise, so I’ll still do things like yoga or Pilates – low-impact exercise, so I’m focusing on that.

“I’ve matured a lot in the last few weeks, to be honest.”
