A state of the art bowling complex is set to open in Bristol’s Cabot Circus in a matter of months. King Pins will be launching its third venue – and first out of Manchester – in Bristol next year.

The Bristol site will open in January 2025 and will feature a variety of games and activities ‘suitable for the whole family’, including ten-pin bowling, tech darts, American pool, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, karaoke rooms, and an arcade. There will also be a bar and onsite eatery serving up a menu of food and drink options – more information on exactly what will be on the menu is due to be released in the coming weeks.

James Travis, brand manager at King Pins, said: “King Pins Bristol will be the brand’s first venture outside of Manchester, and we couldn’t be more excited to join over 120 brands in Cabot Circus. We know our guests in Manchester love our signature games and we can’t wait to introduce them to the city.

“Bristol get ready because we’re bringing the crown jewels of bowling to you from January!” King Pins opened its first two sites in Manchester in summer 2023 and May 2024, with the latest opening in Manchester’s Arndale Centre already boasting a 4.9-star rating on Google.

One reviewer writes: “I’ve been here weekly for the past five weeks and every time I’ve been it’s been an amazing and welcoming experience… 10/10 would return and would recommend to others.” While another guest said: “Great atmosphere! We had a blast at King Pins Arndale, they have a seamless booking process, nice and approachable staff, lots of range with the activities, so much to choose from!”

Cabot Circus owner, Hammerson, confirmed back in July that King Pins will open a new 16,500 sq ft space. It will be located next to TGIs but will operate on a mezzanine level.
