The Armagh, Fermanagh and Tyrone Senior Club Football Championship Finals have been postponed due to Storm Ashley.

The Fermanagh decider between Enniskillen Gaels and Erne Gaels Belleek at Brewster Park (2pm) and Tyrone showdown between Errigal Ciaran and Trillick at Healy Park (4pm) were postponed on Sunday morning, with strong winds forecast across Northern Ireland.

However, the Armagh Final – between Clan na Gael and Clann Eireann – was postponed just half an hour before play was due to start at the Athletic Grounds. Scaffolding within the ground was blown over by strong gusts of wind.

The Senior Hurling final in Derry has also been hit shortly before Banagher and Slaughtneil were due to take to the field. It has been rescheduled for 2pm next Saturday. The Fermanagh football final will now take place on Sunday 27 October (4pm) at the same venue. A new date for the Armagh and Tyrone final has yet to be confirmed.
