Fans of The Wheel were delighted on Saturday evening as Callum, a customer service manager for a motability car insurance company, scooped an astounding £86,000 on the show.

The 29-year-old contestant revealed that they had just moved into a new home with their partner and were in dire need of funds for renovation. As fortune would have it, it was Callum’s turn in the final round to hit the jackpot, with host Michael McIntyre jubilantly declaring: “Callum has won The Wheel, £86,000!”

Overwhelmed by the win, Callum burst into tears as he said: “Oh my gosh”, and adding through sobs: “I can’t even speak, oh my God, it’s amazing!”

When queried about the impact of the win, Callum expressed: “It’s going to change so much, just everything like with us just getting the new house we’re really struggling at the minute trying to afford like what to do with things and with this money we can just go for it all.”
