Strictly hopeful Pete Wicks has given two reasons he believes are behind him still being single. While appearing on Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong It’s Right podcast, Pete shared girls either don’t “stick around”, or he ends up getting annoyed by them “easily”.
Olivia, who tied the knot with Bradley Dack in June 2023, prompted the discussion by asking: “You don’t have a problem meeting people, do you?” To which Pete responded: “Oh no, no, no, I just have a problem with them sticking around, or me wanting them to stick around.
“It’s probably more the latter because people aggravate me really easily!”.
Later, Olivia questioned Pete on whether dating a friend of an ex was either so wrong, or so wrong it’s right. Pete admitted: “It’s wrong, but I’ve done it,” leading Olivia to exclaim: “Of course you f***ing have!”
Reflecting on his actions, Pete conceded: “Yeah it’s wrong, isn’t it? ” Olivia agreed, saying: “Yeah it’s icky, it’s wronger of the friend,” but then she reconsidered, suggesting that sometimes such a move could be justified.
She quipped: “I think it could be so wrong, it’s right though, because I always say to Brad, I’m not proud of this, but if Brad cheated on me or something awful – I’m going for the inner circle!”.
Pete also put to rest any speculation of a romance brewing between himself and his professional dance partner, Jowita Przystał, despite the palpable chemistry that BBC viewers have noticed.
When questioned by Olivia about their relationship status, he firmly responded: “Erm, no. We’re dance partners, she’s amazing and I get on really well with her.”
Additionally, he expressed his fondness for Jowita, stating, “She is honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life.”
