Ards take on University College Cork at Londonderry Park on Saturday as they look to continue their promising start to life back in the EYHL.

The newly-promoted side have picked up six points from their opening three games following their return to the division.

Draws against Pegasus and Old Alex were followed by a 2-0 win over Pembroke Wanderers thanks to goals from Rachel Houston and Zara Malseed and have the side in fourth place.

They now have a chance to extend their strong start as they face a UCC side who are bottom of the table and yet to pick up a point in the 2024/25 season.

Elsewhere, Ulster Elks travel to Dublin to take on Pembroke Wanderers.

The university outfit have made a positive start to the campaign following an opening-day defeat against champions Loreto, picking up five points from their following two games.

Canadian Audrey Sawyers has provided an immediate impact to her side since joining in the summer of 2024 with three goals in the 2024/25 season and is likely to be a threat once more on Saturday.

They now face a Pembroke side who have lost two of their opening three games and occupy eighth spot in the table.

The final EYHL game in the division sees Pegasus host Catholic Institute at The Dub as they look for a first normal-time win of the 2024/25 season.

In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League, high-flying Portadown travel to Comber Road to take on Lisnagarvey.

The visitors have won their opening three games by an aggregate score of 15-1 and find themselves second in the table with a game in hand of champions Queen’s University.

Youngster Evie Girvan has made a fast start and provided the key threat for her side, with four strikes already in the 2024/25 season as she also leads the division for goals.

Lisnagarvey have also made a strong start to the 2024/25 campaign with wins over Mossley and Ballymoney in the opening weeks as they occupy third spot in the division.

Belfast Harlequins host Lurgan with both sides looking to bounce back from recent defeats.

The hosts ran riot on the opening day of the 2024/25 season as they thrashed Banbridge 7-0 at Havelock Park, with Alyssa Jebb and Claire Whiteside leading the charge.

However, the south Belfast side have failed to score since, with a 0-0 draw against Omagh and a heavy 5-0 loss to Queen’s University seeing them slip down the table.

Saturday’s opponents also lost to the Students in their previous game following victories over Banbridge and Omagh.
