Enniskillen Gaels, who last won the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship title in 2022, are back in the hunt for the title again following a series of impressive performances in the 2024 series.

They will meet Erne Gaels in Sunday’s decider at Brewster Park, Enniskillen (2.00pm) conscious that their opponents will be particularly keen to atone for two so near yet so far episodes in terms of landing the title of late when they fell at the Semi-Final stages to Derrygonnelly Harps in 2023 and themselves in 2022.

On Sunday, the presence of Ultan Kelm in their line-up alongside his brothers Aoghan and Oisin will be a boost for Erne Gaels, as will the inclusion of Seamus Ryder. There is no doubt that Ultan Kelm in particular can bring his influence to bear, but they can only hope that defensive deficiencies do not undermine their efforts to lift the title.

Enniskillen manager Simon Bradley will send his well-drilled side into action in the knowledge that the experience of Johnny Cassidy, Conor Love and Richard O’Callaghan among others could pay dividends.

The trio have been in fine form of late, and their scoring ability was certainly underlined at the Semi-Final stage – something Bradley would be very happy to see again on Sunday.

Meanwhile, just over the border, the Cavan SFC Final will see Ramor United take on Crosserlough at Breffni Park (4.00pm).

Tyrone accents will dominate on the sideline where Ryan Daly (Carrickmore) and Archie Beattie (Eskra) will have charge of Crosserlough, while the McNabb brothers from Trillick, Jude and Pat, will oversee Ramor United’s title drive.

Crosserlough will look to Emmet Boylan, Brandon Boylan, Matthew Costello and Peter Smith to fire them up, while Ramor United can call upon the experience and flair of Matthew Smith, Enda Maguire, James Bradley, Gareth Mannion and Jack Brady.

Mannion and Brady grabbed key scores for Ramor United at the Semi-Final stage and could pose a major danger on Sunday, while in Stephen Smith and Gareth Mannion, Crosserlough have capable scorers.

Cavan representatives have been unable to make an impact in the Ulster Club Championship in recent years, but there is a strong yearning within the county to see whoever wins this year’s county Championship go on and make an impact in the provincial competition.
