Photos believed to be taken from inside Liam Payne’s Buenos Aires show a smashed TV with a half-drunk glass of what appears to be champagne beside it. Other images show burnt tin foil and a Dove soap packet. The former One Direction singer, 31, died on Wednesday in the Argentinian capital.

An autopsy was performed by the Forensic Medical Corps at the Judicial Morgue on Viamonte Street. Local outlet Infobae had access to the preliminary results which have been revealed in Argentinian media.

According to the report by the two specialists who conducted the autopsy, Payne died from “multiple traumas” that caused “internal and external bleeding.” Reports said the preliminary result is consistent with a ten-metre fall he suffered from the balcony of his room, located on the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel on Godoy Cruz Street.
