Liam Payne, former One Direction star, tragically passed away at a hotel in Argentina after a fall from the balcony on his third-floor room. The 31-year-old was there with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, with whom he had been in a relationship for two years.
Kate Cassidy is a 25-year-old influencer from New Jersey. In 2021, the influencer completed her studies at Coastal Carolina University and then transitioned into a full-time career as a social media star.
Although she resides in London, she often shares photos and videos of her adventures around the globe. Kate boasts more than 287,000 followers on her Instagram account.
She was reportedly seen with Liam in a Snapchat video he posted just hours before his body was found at 5pm on Wednesday, October 16. Only a few days before his passing, the couple had attended ex-One Direction star Niall Horan’s concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires and were filmed singing, dancing and kissing.
Recently, Kate shared posts about her trip to Greece with Liam and some lovely pictures from a wedding they attended in Paris. During the summer, Kate also uploaded photos from her travels to Lake Como and Milan in Italy, along with snapshots from Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.
In October 2022, Kate and Liam debuted as a couple at a Halloween party in London. They dressed up as Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.
They were later spotted heading to Inca London in Mayfair. Shortly after, Kate shared a photo of their costumes on social media, signalling she was eager to go Instagram-official.
