The BBC has unveiled an enticing first glimpse of the eagerly anticipated second season of its critically lauded 2024 series, Boarders.

The initial six-part series, which follows a quintet of Black teenagers awarded scholarships to a prestigious school, was met with high praise from both audiences and critics.

In addition to astute commentary on race, class, and privilege, viewers were captivated by the individual narratives of the characters, punctuated by numerous comedic highlights.

After debuting in February this year, the BBC confirmed a sequel in June, with US platform Tubi coming onboard as a co-producer.

Filming took place in Bristol, with the city’s Clifton College serving as the fictional St Gilbert’s. Much of the series was also shot in Ashton Court and Redcliffe.
