GB News host Andrew Pierce tried his hand at reading sports headlines for ‘Match of the Day’, as Britain’s Newsroom cohost Bev Turner challenged Andrew to “audition” for the hosting gig.
Joking that “Gary Lineker is the new England manager”, Andrew attempted to read the top sporting news as a mocked up image of the presenter as Lineker was displayed on the screen.
As Andrew struggled to deliver the news, Bev claimed that his audition was “very good”, with commentator Mike Parry telling Andrew that his delivery was “very sharp”.
