Family-run Bristol restaurant and café Taste of Napoli is opening a second restaurant in the city – this time on the busy Park Street. The local business, which is based on The Horsefair in Broadmead is described on its website as having “arose from a desire to introduce authentic and traditional Italian street food to Bristol”.

Its menus consist of a vast array of dishes and drinks that are renowned throughout Italy, and “typical” of the family’s Neapolitan heritage. They also stock a wide selection of authentic Italian produce available to buy, to “create your very own Taste of Napoli at home”.

The family also pride themselves on “using traditional methods and the best quality ingredients”, all of which are imported directly from Italy, to create their food.

Situated next to Mrs Pott’s Chocolate House, around halfway up Park Street, there is already signage on the window of number 48, stating that the new restaurant is “opening soon”. No opening date has been confirmed as of yet, however.

Items on the menu will include pizza, arancini, focaccia, paninis, calzone, lasagne, coffee, and more. The original branch in Broadmead looks to be staying open, so Bristol foodies will have the choice between two sites to enjoy.
