Bill Belichick may have his share of Super Bowl rings, but he may be in the market for a different kind of ring.

While Belichick’s professional life remains in question, as rumours swirl that the Dallas Cowboys could be interested in his services after a 3-3 start to the season, his personal life is going swimmingly.

“Bill is in a bit of a crossroads on what he would like to do for his future as there is still a drive to coach again and break the wins record, but his life now isn’t that bad as he has been enjoying doing TV and absolutely enjoying his relationship with his girlfriend Jordon (Hudson) that is blossoming into something that is going to lead to marriage,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“He wants to be with her all of the time, but she is pushing him to see the options that he will have for next season because she knows that makes him happy.”

The insider added: “After a year removed from the game on the field, he is going to have some more options but as it looks now he will be making the decision not just for himself but with the love of his life as he wants her to be happy with any decision he is meant to make on any offers he will be given.”

Belichick has spent the 2024 season as an analyst on different networks after parting ways with the Patriots and not being snatched up by another team.

But there’s talk that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones could be interested in Belichick.

Following Sunday’s 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy could be replaced by Belichick as “many around the league wonder if Dallas could become the primary landing spot for” the coaching legend, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports said, according to The Bleacher Report.

“If Jerry fires Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys job is Bill’s if he wants it,’ the source told the Mail, detailing that Belichick wouldn’t take the gig until next year.

“Since the Cowboys are awful and are in need of a new direction and coach, Bill might use that as leverage to sway Jerry to do things differently, but it isn’t automatic that he will be joining the Cowboys,” the insider continued.

A job offer in Dallas “might be something Bill uses to gain another job elsewhere” where he would “use teams against each other to get to the place he actually wants to go.”

While there have also been rumours suggesting Belichick could head to the New York Jets, his annihilation of the franchise on Monday Night Football says otherwise, namely the manner in which Robert Saleh was fired.

“I’m not a big Jets fan, in case you don’t know that,” Belichick said during the broadcast.

“I thought Coach Saleh really did a good job with this team … That’s kinda what it’s been there with the Jets. They’ve barely won over 30% in the last 10 years. The owner being the owner … ready, fire, aim.”
