A Jet2 flight from Edinburgh to Dalaman was diverted to Cologne after two “disruptive passengers” had a “scrap” and “one spat in the other’s face” midair.
Holidaymakers onboard said one of the “drunk” passengers shouted, “Where are you taking me?” as German police removed them from the aircraft.
Flight LS781, which took off on Tuesday evening, made the unscheduled stop in Cologne after the disruption erupted.
Footage shows one of the rowdy passengers protesting her innocence before she turns to passengers still onboard and says: “F**k you all man.”
“The two of them were drunk and warned before we even took off,” one traveller told the Edinburgh Live.
“One spat in the other’s face and they had a little scrap.
“They were told by the cabin crew if we need to divert it will cost £20,000.”
During a video, one passenger can be heard shouting: “I don’t know what to do, this is not fair. I’ve not done anything wrong, where are you taking me.”

She is then seen stumbling off the flight and apologising to a fellow passenger as she bumps into them.
Following the disruption, another flight from Dalaman to Edinburgh was affected as a result.
The airline to offer passengers hotel accommodation and refreshments.
A Jet2 spokesperson said: “We can confirm that flight LS781 from Edinburgh to Dalaman diverted to Cologne on Tuesday, October 8 due to disruptive passenger behaviour.

“The flight departed for Dalaman after two passengers were offloaded by police.
“However the subsequent Dalaman to Edinburgh flight had to night stop in Dalaman.
“We have arranged for hotel accommodation and refreshments for everyone and will have them on their way home as soon as possible.”
