The Cabot Circusskate park of recent years is returning this October half-term. The shopping destination’s car park will be transformed into a fully functioning skate park for skaters of all ages and abilities.
Taking place between October 26 and November 3, the Level 7 free skate event will be located on the car park’s seventh level and is totally free to attend, though you will need to book a space here. You’ll be able to enjoy a safe, dry and well-lit space, with no cars allowed.
There will be a slow space area where skaters can master their skills at their own pace. There will also be a series of campus lessons and jams, perfect for improving technique and meeting like-minded skaters.
These are as follows:
- Saturday, October 26 (10am-4pm): Campus lessons
- Sunday, October 27 (10am-4pm): Ramp antics with Route One
- Tuesday, October 29 (10am-4pm): Campus lessons
- Wednesday, October 30 (10am-4pm): UOB Skate Society Takeover (sponsored by Monster)
- Thursday, October 31-Saturday, November 2 (10am-4pm): Campus lessons
The main skating area, dubbed ‘the heart of the action’ will also be offering open skate sessions all day, every day, plus special jams, workshops and a film premiere to round off the week. The schedule for this area is as follows:
- Everyday: Open skate sessions from 10am-8pm
