Meghan Markle has reached out to a former co-star after years of silence.
The Duchess of Sussex and Patrick J Adams played on-screen couple Michael Ross and Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits.
Their friendship appeared strong when Adams and his wife were invited to the Sussexes’ 2018 royal wedding in Windsor.
But the actor, 43, admitted he recently received a heartwarming note of support from Prince Harry’s wife, despite them losing touch in recent years.

Writing on Reddit while answering fans’ questions, Adams said: “She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons.
“But upon hearing about the podcast, I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way.
“So lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart.”
Sidebar, the podcast hosted by Adams and fellow Suits star Sarah Rafferty, is “dedicated to re-watching and breaking down” the hit legal drama, with “special guests who played a part both in front of and behind the camera”.

Meghan’s award-winning podcast welcomed celebrity guests such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Andy Cohen and Jameela Jamil.
It has seen more than 10 million downloads, although the Sussexes were later axed by the streaming platform in 2023.
Asked by Entertainment Weekly if the duchess would be joining them on Sidebar, Rafferty said: “Everybody’s invited.
