Ralf Schumacher’s son, David, has backed the former F1 star amid his ongoing row with ex-wife, Cora Schumacher.
Ralf and Cora were married for 14 years before they announced their split back in 2015.
In July, the former Formula One driver revealed he was in a relationship with a man named Etienne – with David showing support for his father following his decision to go public.
Ralf’s ex-wife, Cora, has since criticised the 49-year-old.

She said earlier this year that he felt ‘used’ and as though she had ‘wasted her best years’.
Ralf has since insisted she was aware of his new relationship before he announced Etienne as his partner to the rest of the world.
Yet Cora has filed a complaint accusing the ex-F1 star of lying during a television interview where he defended his actions.
David, writing in a since-deleted post on Instagram, has now made his stance on the matter clear.

He insists he’s fully supportive of his father and believes Cora, his mother, is looking at the situation ‘differently’.
“Normally I wouldn’t want to talk about family matters in public because these topics have no business being talked about online,” he said.
“Unfortunately my mother seems to be looking at this differently.
“It is now time to put an end to it: I just want to live my life in peace, [and] reach my goals without being asked about all the things my mother accuses me and my dad of.”

David then said that his mother had previously threatened to wreck his dream of being a racing driver, too.
He added: “When my parents divorced in 2015, my mother threatened me that if I didn’t live with her, she would destroy my life’s dream, meaning my dream of being a racing driver would be destroyed because, due to the custody of both parents, she would no longer sign the necessary documents.”
Both Ralf and Etienne were reportedly at the wedding of Gina Schumacher to Iain Bethke.
It has even been suggested that Michael Schumacher was there too, in what is being described as his first ‘public’ appearance since his tragic skiing accident in 2013.

Meanwhile, Cora’s mother, Ingrid Brinkmann, opened up on the family row earlier this summer.
She revealed that rumours over Ralf’s sexuality had existed for years.
And Ingrid also accused the former F1 star of not being truthful when quizzed on the speculation.
“I feel sorry for Cora, how she is now being insulted in public and portrayed as a liar,” she said.
