Melania Trump has revealed that she has “ongoing correspondence” with the King in her new memoir.

Although it has not been disclosed when these letters began, King Charles sent a letter to her husband Donald Trump following the first unsuccessful assassination attempt at a campaign rally in July, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.


The former President met the Royal family in 2019 on a UK state visit, with mixed responses from the public.

However, in his book ‘A Voyage Around the Queen’, author Craig Brown described how the late Queen did not take a liking to the Republican.

He wrote: “She particularly disliked the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting.”

Melania Trump, 54, explained that she and King Charles first met in New York in 2005 while he was the Prince of Wales, and then met again in 2019 when her husband was President.

Now, the former fashion model’s memoir has avid fans looking forward to a “tell-all” book.

Ahead of its release, The New York Times has highlighted five key takeaways, including Melania’s support for abortion rights.

However, the presidential nominee’s wife has remained supportive of her husband while he was in office, unlike other First Ladies who have spoken out against their counterparts.

During his term as President played a part in overturning Roe v. Wade – which was a Supreme Court ruling that protected abortion rights across the US – by appointing three conservative judges to the court.

The model has said that she and her husband do not agree on every political stance.

She believes people must “take care of themselves”, with everyone born with the right to “enjoy our lives”.

In her memoir, she explains that this belief extends to a woman’s natural right to choose.

Melania’s memoir is set to be released in the UK on October 24.
