Melania Trump is sharing her love story with the Republican presidential candidate ahead of the release of her memoir.
The former first lady took to social media over the weekend with a video in which she reveals how she and the former president fell in love and how their relationship has blossomed over the years.
“From the moment Donald and I met, there was an undeniable spark,” she begins.
The 54-year-old went on to say there was “something magnetic about him, his confidence, his charm, his humour, his vision.”
She described their wedding as a “beautiful affair” and spoke of her “breathtaking gown, a perfectly created menu by a celebrated chef and captivating live performances by music legends.”
Images from their wedding day are shown including the bride getting fitted in the Christian Dior gown and their first dance.
The clip ends with a shot of her memoir, Melania, which is set to be released on Tuesday.
The gushing post came after just days another video in which she defended abortion rights and a woman’s right to choose.
“Individual freedom is a fundamental principle that I safeguard,” she said in the video.
“Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right that all women possess from birth: individual freedom,” she continued.
“What does ‘my body, my choice’ really mean?”
An excerpt from the book that was obtained by The Guardian detailed the different views the couple has on abortion.
“It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government,” she writes in the memoir.
“Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes,” Melania continued.
Melania also noted that there are “occasional political disagreements between me and my husband,” which are “part of our relationship,” but she believes in “addressing them privately rather than publicly challenging him.”

Donald, who took credit for appointing the three Supreme Court justices that helped overturn Roe v. Wade, has said that abortion laws should be left to the states.
He has since taken a more moderate stance as the issue has become a political liability for Republicans, suggesting he might vote to end Florida’s six-week abortion ban when it comes up in a referendum later this year, the Daily Mail reported.
When asked about his wife’s book, Donald told Fox News that he told her to “go with your heart,” as far as what she was going to mention.
“We spoke about it. And I said, you have to write what you believe,” he said. “I’m not going to tell you what to do. You have to write what you believe.”
