Virgin Media is back with another massive giveaway as it tempts customers to make the switch from their current provider. This latest deal is too good to miss for gamers as it includes a brand-new games console completely free.

Virgin is giving away a free Xbox Series S or £150 off your bills when signing up to select TV and broadband bundles that include a choice of Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix and superfast fibre broadband. The deal isn’t here for long though, as shoppers must sign up by 11.59pm on Sunday, October 13.

You can get your hands on the free Xbox or £150 bill credit by signing up to one of these four 18-month plans: the Bigger Combo bundle + Movies, Bigger Combo bundle + Sports HD, Biggest Combo bundle or Mega Volt bundle. Prices start at £60.99 a month for the Movies bundle, which includes more than 200 TV channels, Sky Cinema, a free Netflix subscription and 132Mbps fibre broadband – there’s also no setup fee.

An Xbox Series S would usually set you back £249.99 from retailers like Argos and Currys, but Virgin will give you one at no extra cost, meaning you’ll have a shiny new games console in time for Christmas. The deal is only available for new customers and it’s worth keeping in mind Virgin states its prices will increase each April in line with inflation.

Virgin has also introduced a new system that makes switching providers even easier and more seamless with the launch of One Touch Switch. Virgin isn’t the only provider offering mega money-saving deals, as Sky has reduced its own TV and broadband plans in a huge autumn sale. Customers can currently get the Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 300 broadband bundle for its ‘lowest ever price’ at £40 a month.

Usually priced at £52, this deal saves members £288 over the 24-month term and includes the biggest blockbuster titles like The Penguin with a new Sky Stream box, which lets you watch TV and Netflix via WiFi rather than a satellite or aerial. But if you’re only looking to upgrade your broadband, Sky’s Full Fibre 300 without any TV extras is also at its lowest price for £29 a month, as well as no upfront costs to get up and running.
