An OnlyFans model in Florida is being ripped on social media for recording and posting a joke weather report during Hurricane Helene’s deadly impact in the U.S. over the weekend.

Skyler Simpson, who has more than one million followers on Instagram and over half a million on TikTok, filmed a 50-second mock weather report wearing a pink bikini while holding an umbrella and microphone and standing on a flooded street last Friday.

“Live, reporting from Tampa Bay, on Bayshore Boulevard, I think everybody’s been a little …,” Simpson said at the start of the video before she was pelted with ice cubes off-camera.

“I like to go for a walk with my family,” she added while being hit in her right eye with an ice cube.

She continued her fake weather update as the winds whipped her umbrella inside out.

“As you can see, I think people got a little dramatic with how the weather was gonna be here, the storm obviously passed and went up to Tallahassee. I think it’s a beautiful night out here on Bayshore. Perfect for strolling with your family, and having a nice nighttime walk.”

Off camera, a person splashed her with the flood waters.

“I feel great, Tampa Bay feels great. Be safe. Skyler Simpson. Back to you, Chris,” she said at the end of the video.

Simpson, who received praise from many followers and fans for the so-called weather update, was also criticized after the hurricane and the flooding it brought has led to more than 160 people dead across southeastern U.S. The hurricane also left some communities without power, food, water and cellphone coverage.

“Jokes aside hope everyone is okay and my heart goes out to all affected by the storm,” she wrote after posting the video to her social media channels.

That didn’t sit well with some others, who were not amused by the clip.

“Incredibly poor taste with this,” one person wrote. “People have died. Or are seriously injured. Would you wanna be in their shoes? Just because you think you had a fun drunk moment doesn’t mean this post should stay on your account. So if you’ve got tact you’ll delete it.”

Another called the fake weather report “disgusting.”

“Selling content while others are suffering. Karma will get you.”

A third sarcastically wrote that the video was “hilarious. People died so let’s make jokes.”
