Manchester City star Matheus Nunes was allegedly arrested in Madrid last month after an altercation at a nightclub.
Nunes was reportedly taken into custody after being accused of stealing a mobile phone on September 8.
According to Spanish publication El Mundo, Nunes was at the La Riviera nightclub last month in Madrid when a man took a photo of him in the bathrooms at around 5.30am.
Nunes was accused of snatching the phone out of the man’s hand and refused to give it back.

When police were called to the scene, it was reported that the Portugal international was in possession of someone else’s phone.
The midfielder was handcuffed and taken to Arganzuela police station before ringing his lawyer, being released on bail several hours later.
The report also states that a trial is pending for Nunes.
The incident happened over the international break while he was left out of the Portugal squad by Roberto Martinez.
However, the 26-year-old was in action less than a week after the alleged incident when he came off the bench against Brentford on September 14.
Nunes has had a tough time asserting himself at the Etihad since his £53million move last summer from Wolves.
He has since become a bit-part player, making 34 appearances for City largely from the bench.
However, after the season-ending injury to Rodri, Pep Guardiola might be calling on Nunes’ services more often.

In City’s 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday night, Nunes started as Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan and James McAtee got on the scoresheet.
Guardiola recently backtracked on comments he made on Nunes when he played for Sporting in Portugal.

After City played the Primeira Liga outfit, he said he was ‘one of the best players in the world’ but the Catalan coach has downplayed his previous assertion.
“Maybe I overexaggerated a little bit,” he said. “He’s not [that].
“He is a really good player but sometimes, maybe I said this comment after 1-5 [against Sporting], it was 5-0? But he’s an exceptional player.”
