Zara Tindall is “trying to broker peace” between Prince William and Prince Harry amid their bitter royal feud, insiders have claimed.

Since the departure of the Duke of Sussex, 40, to the US alongside his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, Harry’s relationship with the Prince of Wales, 42, has weakened.

A source claimed that Zara, 43, has tried to act as a peacemaker between the duo so that relations between Harry and other senior members of the Royal Family can be improved.

They suggested: “Zara figures there couldn’t be a better time for her to try and broker peace.

“Zara feels she’s the only one who can get through to both of them.”

The insider added that despite Harry’s revelations in his memoir Spare and various interviews since departing the Royal Family, William’s younger brother is “missed” by the Firm.

They continued to tell Woman’s Day: “No one likes to admit it, but for all his mistakes, everyone misses Harry.”

The topic of reconciliation between Harry and the rest of the Royal Family has been a recurring theme in 2024.

Rumours of the Duke of Sussex’s desire to return to the UK are permanently swirling around.

There were hopes that dialogue between William and Harry could be on the horizon after the Prince and Princess of Wales sent him a public birthday greeting on his 40th birthday.

However, the pair are understood to be still not on speaking terms despite the open recognition of his milestone birthday.

Zara has been building momentum this year, with one expert claiming she and her husband Mike Tindall could become “PR gold dust”.

As a result of their growing popularity and Zara’s own success, there are growing calls for them to take on more royal duties.

Speaking about their success, former head of press for Downing Street Giles Kenningham said: “The Tindalls work very well on that level – they have had their own careers.

“They are independent financially and they conduct themselves well.

“You certainly don’t see them staggering out of the back of bars.”
