Eight Armagh players, who helped the Orchard County land the Lidl National League Division One title, have been nominated for All-Stars.
Armagh are recognised by goalkeeper Anna Carr, defenders Clodagh McCambridge (captain), Grace Ferguson, Cait Towe and Lauren McConville, midfielder Caroline O’Hanlon and forwards Aoife McCoy and Blaithín Mackin.
All 15 of Kerry’s All-Ireland Ladies Football Final starting team have also been nominated for All-Stars.
The reigning All-Ireland champions are expected to receive the lion’s share of awards when the winners are announced at a gala banquet at The Bonnington Dublin Hotel on Saturday, November 16.
Their 3-14 to 0-11 All-Ireland Final win over Galway sealed a first All-Ireland senior title since 1993 for The Kingdom, who are currently manager-less after Declan Quill and Darragh Long announced their decision to step down after six years over the weekend.
The 2024 TG4 Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players’ Player of the Year Award winners will also be revealed on the night.
The 45-strong list of nominees also includes six players who received TG4 All-Star Awards in 2023 — Kerry trio Eilís Lynch, captain Niamh Carmody and Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh, and Dublin’s Leah Caffrey, Jennifer Dunne and Carla Rowe.
