Travis Kelce’s mother has shared his reaction to meeting Prince William and his children at a Taylor Swift concert in London.

In an interview published on September 26, Kelce’s mother, Donna, revealed her son’s humble perspective on the encounter.

Donna revealed: “He said that ‘When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant… you’re just like, who in this picture doesn’t fit? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to talk to these individuals? It just doesn’t seem right.'”

The encounter took place at Wembley Stadium in June, where Prince William, 42, and two of his children, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George, attended Swift’s first Eras concert in London.

Kelce later shared his thoughts on the royal encounter during his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

He expressed uncertainty about the proper protocol, saying: “[I] wasn’t sure if I was supposed to, like, bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand”.

Despite his initial hesitation, Kelce had a positive impression of the royals, particularly Prince William.
