A Korean food festival is heading to Bristol this weekend (Friday, September 27 to Sunday, 29). Taking place at Jamaica Street Studios, the three-day street food festival will be free to enter and will serve up food such as Korean hot dogs and fried chicken, noodles, kimchi and plenty of vegan options.
According to the event description online, the food festival will turn into a £5 ticketed event from 9pm on Friday (September 27) and Saturday (September 28), raising money for the opening of a new permanent space for the team, called Guerilla Kitchen. The new space will “allow us to create something truly special for the community, with a street food kitchen, community supermarket, 24-hour DIY restaurant, weekend market and events space”.
Evening tickets will allow you to enjoy sets planned by resident DJs this weekend – DJ Yulian, Fate, P.A.B MC, Loz, Rozi, and special guests. From 9pm it will be a strictly 18+ event and you can purchase tickets on the door, or via this link.
The event is brought to festival goers by Chef Wizzy and the Sky Kong Kong team. They say: “We are really excited to be in a new space and hope that whilst you eat, you can relax, listen to an open decks multi-genre mashup of the Bristolian sound and maybe even get a little dance in. We will also have live music and some workshops throughout the festival.”
