Being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease is something that many wouldn’t wish on their worst enemies.

But the woman who accused NFL legend Brett Favre of sending her X-rated pictures doesn’t seem too upset about the hall of famer’s recent revelation.

While testifying at a congressional hearing on welfare misspending and reform on Tuesday, Favre revealed his diagnosis.

Many were taken aback by the news, but Jennifer Sterger showed little sympathy.

The former New York Jets host who accused the hall of fame quarterback of sending her inappropriate and explicit text during his one-season tenure with the team, took to social media to share her thoughts Favre’s shocking revelation.

“PSA: Please don’t send me links to it. I’ve seen it. I can read,” Sterger wrote on her Instagram story. “I don’t wish bad things on anyone, but I know Karma never forgets an address.

“Imagine being diagnosed with such a terrible disease and not having the resources to fight it bc some Hall-of-Fame quarterback stole it?

“Those are the people that need your attention, support, and sympathy. And at least now, his pictures won’t be in focus. Mississippi you deserve better.”

Favre has been linked to a Mississippi welfare scandal in which himself and several other high-profile people were alleged to have been involved in the misuse of welfare money for personal projects.

During his testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee, he opened up about his diagnosis.

“Sadly, I also lost an investment in a company (Prevacus) that I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others,” Favre said. “I’m sure you’ll understand, while it’s too late for me because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, this is also a cause dear to my heart.”

In 2010, two years after he allegedly sent Sterger inappropriate texts and photos of his penis, the NFL investigated her claims but couldn’t conclude the quarterback violated the league’s workplace conduct policy.

He would later admit to sending Sterger voicemails and was fined $50,000 US for not cooperating with the league’s investigation.

Sterger has also been vocal about Favre’s role in the Mississippi welfare scandal, posting on X in 2023: “Oh. NOWWWWW he gets in trouble for inappropriate texts.”
