Ulster head coach Richie Murphy has named a 30-player squad for the trip to South Africa to play the Lions and the Bulls in the BKT United Rugby Championship.

Ulster take on the Lions this Saturday at Emirates Airline Park with kick-off at 11.55am UK time. The following Saturday, the province will head to Pretoria to take on the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld Stadium at 3pm UK time.

Hooker Tadgh McElroy has joined the province on a short-term injury cover basis and travels with the squad. The former Ireland U20s hooker spent last season with Connacht and has also played for Saracens, Bedford Blues, Bristol Bears, London Irish and Leinster.
