Marks & Spencer shoppers will be able to purchase new starters, mains and desserts as it expands its Gastropub range to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

This will include meals made in collaboration with chef Tom Kerridge, and the items will be stocked in M&S Foodhalls and on Ocado.


The collaboration introduces a selection of new dishes crafted by the chef. These additions are set to elevate the already popular Gastropub menu, offering customers restaurant-quality meals to enjoy at home.

The new Tom Kerridge x Gastropub range features a variety of mouthwatering dishes. Starters include a creamy pork liver, belly and bacon pâté.

For mains, customers can indulge in deep-filled all-butter pastry pies, such as the British Beef Pie and British Chicken Curry Pie. Other main courses include British Beef Cheeks and a Lentil Cottage Pie.

The chef has also created two desserts for the range: a Treacle Tart made with breadcrumbs and Cornish sea salt, and a Molten Cookie Dough with an oozing centre.

He stated: “I’ve been so inspired by the innovation and quality of what they’re producing, I just knew I wanted to create something for M&S customers using all these little gems from around the Foodhall.”

Product Development Manager at M&S Food Marie Ford added: “This is a very exciting time for Gastropub. Not only are we turning 20 but we’ve also brought on board Tom Kerridge to create completely delicious new dishes to join the menu.”

The Gastropub range, a staple of M&S for two decades, is receiving a significant revamp alongside the Tom Kerridge collaboration. The update includes 25 recipe improvements and over 20 new additions to the menu.

This refresh comes as data from Ocado shows a rising trend in traditional pub food searches. Sausages and gravy searches have increased by 67 per cent, pie and mash by 66 per cent and lamb moussaka by an impressive 249 per cent year-on-year.

M&S is offering a Gastropub Dine In deal, allowing customers to enjoy a starter or dessert, main, and side for two people at just £15.
