Eamonn Holmes has been pictured with “suggestive veg” as he bumped into a Hollywood actress at a party.

It has been reported that Holmes is eyeing up both a trip down the aisle and a house move with his new love interest, Katie Alexander, not long after his split from Ruth Langsford in May.

On Instagram, Kate Beckinsale posted: “I don’t know what to say. When you see Eamonn Holmes at a party the urge to ask him to pose with suggestive veg is unprecedented for reasons even I don’t understand.

“This did not happen when I met Bruce Springsteen so I have to conclude it’s either intrinsic to Eamonn or something to do with the approaching harvest festival.”

It comes after Eamonn Holmes said he had ticked another item off his bucket list after being pictured with a new famous friend.

The GB News and former GMTV presenter was snapped with Hollywood’s Kate Beckinsale and spoke glowingly of their encounter.

Posting on social media, he said: “After years of being SM [social media] friends an ambition fulfilled tonight with the wonderful actress Kate Beckinsale.”

Holmes is seen with his arm around Beckinsale’s shoulder while she leans towards him smiling.

Holmes has reportedly returned to the UK after a luxury Mediterranean cruise with his girlfriend Katie Alexander.

Now back to reality, he could be set for divorce proceedings, with Metro reporting that his ex, Ruth Langsford, has hired a lawyer.

Holmes, 64, has been battling ill health for some time.

In 2016, he underwent a double hip replacement operation lasting three-and-a-quarter hours after living with acute pain for many years.

Things worsened in 2021 when he slipped three discs in his back, causing him to lose mobility. And last year, his back surgery went “wrong”, leaving him in need of a wheelchair ever since.

Holmes has spoken of his fear that he might never regain mobility but he has seen some progress in recent times.
