Honda has announced its 2025 Accord and Accord Hybrid, which upgrade two trims for the model year. The Accord was an all-new model for 2023, available in gas-only in one trim; and as a gas-electric hybrid in two trims. The new trims are the gas-only SE, which replaces the previous EX; and the Hybrid Sport-L trim, which adds extra content to the previous Sport trim. The third trim, the Hybrid Touring, carries over. Honda Canada said the hybrid models accounted for more than 75% of all Accord sales in 2023.

All Accord trims now also come standard with rear air-conditioning vents and USB-C ports. The hybrid models now have standard power-adjustable seats and wireless charger.

The SE uses a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine making 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque – the same as with last year’s EX trim – with automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). The new trim features black 17-inch alloy wheels and black exterior styling accents, along with features including a 7-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, power driver’s seat, power sunroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The two hybrid trims use a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with two-motor hybrid system, making a total of 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. The new Sport-L builds on last year’s Sport trim by adding black 19-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped shift knob and heated steering wheel, power passenger seat, and driver’s side memory.

Both hybrid trims also have a 12.3-inch centre touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with the new standard phone charger. They’re both rated by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) at 5.3 L/100 km in combined city/highway driving, while the gas-only version is rated at 7.3 L/100 km.

The top Touring trim includes such features as a head-up display, premium Bose audio system, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and front and rear parking sensors.

The 2025 Honda Accord SE is $38,300 in Canada. The Hybrid Sport-L trim is $43,000, while the Hybrid Touring is $45,500. All prices are before a freight and PDI charge of $1,830. They are on sale at Canadian dealerships now.
