Tuesday will be mostly dry and cloudy across all parts of Northern Ireland, but brighter skies will spread to eastern counties later in the morning.

This afternoon will be dry and sunny but some cloud across the west at first, reaching maximum temperatures of around 10°C.

Temperatures will then plummet overnight, with lows expected of around -2°C.

Although the night will me mostly clear there will be a widespread frost with a few freezing fog patches in the west.

Overnight mist will clear into Wednesday which is expected to be clear and dry with plenty of sunshine, feeling somewhat warmer away from the east coast.

Wednesday will see highs of 12°C.
